Online Weekly classes are intended only for residents of this local area (NY state, eastern PA, northern NJ) and for those who would normally attend these onsite classes at the temple or our branch locations. All other online classes/courses/retreats are available to those outside this area who would have intended to join the in-person course under normal circumstances.

Links to online classes/courses/retreats are only intended for those who have registered and should not be shared.
Please note: Those who book to attend a class or event onsite will not receive links to the live-stream sessions.

Deposits –
 Excluding accommodations, full payment is due at the time of registration. For onsite accommodations, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a space. Final balance on accommodation must be paid at least 48 hours before arrival.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

· Weekly classes (online or in-person) are non-refundable.
· Course/Retreat Bookings (in-person courses) – If you cancel more than 48 hours before the start of the event or your arrival, whichever is earlier, 25% of the total booking will be retained, including meals and accommodation, and the balance refunded. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
· Online Courses/Retreats – If cancelled more than 48 hours before the start of the course/retreat a 5% administration fee will be retained and the balance refunded. If you cancel within 48 hours of the start of the course/retreat no refund will be given.

Refund exceptions – Exceptions are discretionary and may be made in cases such as bereavement or sickness (including Covid-19 self-isolation or local lockdown), or other reasonably unforeseen circumstances. All such requests must be made in writing to treasurer@kadampanewyork.org within 2 weeks of the retreat start date.

Donating refundable cancellation fees to International Temple’s Project – If you wish to donate the refundable portion of your cancelled fee to the International Temple’s Project, please indicated this at the time of cancellation.

Covid-19 Waiver for Individuals Coming Onsite to KMC New York

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19 has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. As a result, the federal government, New York state, and local governments and agencies have put in place regulations and guidance for religious organizations to follow for group gatherings. We are doing everything we can to be compliant with all regulations and ensure your safety. We have put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19, but we cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. 

By participating in programs, events, classes, services and activities of Kadampa Meditation Center New York, you agree to the following: 

On behalf of yourself and your children, you hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Kadampa Meditation Center New York, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from all liabilities, claims, actions damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating to your participation in our programs, events, classes, services and activities. You understand and agree that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of this organization, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any such program, service or activity. 

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and for the safety of yourself and other people at the programs, events, classes, services and activities, you also agree to read and comply with the guidelines and protocols given to you in the confirmation letter for the program, event, class, service or activity you registered for.
