February Series: Creating Inner Stability and Balance
Tuesdays · 7-8:30pm with Zoe Greenbaum
Tired of the emotional rollercoaster? Emotionally spiking up and down is exhausting. We all desire a balanced mind that is consistently positive, instead of oscillating between excitement and despondency.
This four-week series will provide the answer. Buddhist teachings on finding lasting peace and overcoming dissatisfaction help us create this inner stability and strength we crave. In this series we will look at new ways to relate to the challenges and difficulties of life– not getting what we want, failing to satisfy our desires, and the challenges of getting old and dealing with sickness.
Through learning how to develop a realistic awareness of these challenges and a healthy response to them, our mind will be able to find a real sense of joy. We will not fear the hardships of life, but know how to skillfully navigate them and move our mind to a stable, peaceful place.
