Days Visits

KMC New York is an internationally renowned center for meditation, where everyone is welcome to enjoy a peaceful environment and the many programs offered throughout the year. Whether you are looking for a day visit to the World Peace Temple, enjoy the nature trails, an introduction to Buddhist meditation, or in depth courses and retreats, KMC New York offers an enjoyable and meaningful experience.
One of five traditional Kadampa World Peace Temples in the world, the Temple at KMC New York is a truly unique and blessed place. The Temple, designed by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, was constructed, mostly through the help of volunteers, and opened in 2006 by Venerable Geshe-la. The Temple’s unique design represents all the stages of the spiritual path.
Come in for a latte before class, meet a friend for some meaningful conversation or find a quiet place to read in the spacious World Peace Café located in the Temple veranda. Browse meditation accessories, Buddhist books and artwork, and beautiful merchandise in our shop. Come check it out!
