Wisdom and compassion are like two wings of the bird that fly us to our own awakening. Wisdom without compassion is sterile, but compassion without wisdom is directionless. Training the Mind in Seven Points and its commentary, Universal Compassion, take the practitioner step-by-step on how to train our mind so that we can awaken our wisdom and compassion. First, we see how to cultivate a wise heart that is powerful and potent. Then, we see how we can transform the challenges of life into opportunities for growth and development. Finally, there are timeless and precise strategies for directly making positive change day-by-day, month-by-month, and year-by-year even amidst a busy lifestyle as a modern person.

Gen Devi is a renowned and beloved retreat teacher. She has completed many, intensive meditation retreats and has been guiding them in focused, retreat environments for years. She has the unique skill of helping meditators of all levels go deeper into their practice.

The Mind of all Yogas is a dynamic meditation taught by Buddha to strengthen and stabilize all our meditations of Sutra and Tantra. It unites our supreme good heart of bodhichitta with a deep realization of emptiness, empowering us to become a modern-day bodhisattva.

In this retreat, Gen Samten will first grant the blessing empowerment of the Dharma Protector, Dorje Shugden. Then, will dive into teachings on integrating the Five Forces to develop our conventional and ultimate bodhichitta and use this practice in our daily life.
