The magical practice of taking and giving will transform your life. A beloved heirloom in our tradition, taking and giving has been a central practice for practitioners throughout the ages. Its transformative power is astonishing and, due to being based in profound wisdom, it harnesses the power of imagination for radical, positive change. Gen Samten will be teaching how to use these meditations practically. We do not need to change our outer conditions; we just need to learn how to change our mind. When we know to do this, our daily life will move from its normal state of frustration, anxiety, and worry to confidence, joy, and courageously bringing benefit to the world. Everyone welcome!
The first Saturday in April is set aside to commemorate the founding of NKT–IKBU by Venerable Geshe Kelsang in 1991.
The occasion is marked by special events and by pujas and dedications at Kadampa centers worldwide.
Prayers are made for the flourishing of Kadam Dharma throughout the world so that all living beings might quickly find permanent inner peace.
Above all, we remember the extraordinary kindness of Venerable Geshe Kelsang in founding NKT–IKBU and pray for him to remain with us for a very long time.
