Learn the art of acceptance. Patient acceptance is not gritting our teeth and putting up with things. Instead, it means learning to wholeheartedly welcome whatever arises in our life. Instead of constantly getting upset about inconveniences and running away from difficulties, we can learn to respond confidently and strongly to whatever challenges we encounter.
The teachings on how to practice patient acceptance dissolve away the intensity of our anger. We can learn why anger and non-acceptance only cause problems in our life and how to develop an intention to let these experiences go. In addition, we can see where anger comes from psychologically and how to oppose it in a healthy and thorough way.

Thanksgiving Weekend
Finding Peace Within
November 28 – December 1
We cannot always control what is around us.
BUT, we can learn to control our mind and, eventually, always find peace.
Learning to focus on what we CAN influence and leave what is beyond our control is crucial to our happiness. We can train in peace, and if we want a peaceful world it starts with the development of our own, peaceful mind.
In this special talk, Gen Samten will give some practical tools to let go of anxiety and worry and replace it with positive, peaceful minds. As a result, we will feel empowered to bring these strategies into our life.
Everyone welcome!

Take your life back!
In this workshop, we will look at Buddhist wisdom and meditations for changing our relationship with technology and overcoming distractions using a step-by-step approach to breaking compulsive habits — especially with our phone use.
As a result, we will find a natural, inner happiness that is within each of us. We gain the ability to use the technology necessary for living our life, but without feeling controlled by it.
