IN THE TEMPLE: Sundays 11am – 12:30pm

Prayers for World Peace

In these turbulent times, it is crucial that we develop peaceful minds to enable the emergence of a more harmonious world. The format of this class was designed by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche so that people have a special method to create the causes for world peace.

Classes include a short teaching and advice for life, two guided meditations, and inspiring prayers for world peace.

After the class, feel free to visit our World Peace Café for fresh baked goods and specialty drinks, peruse our bookstore for unique items,  and enjoy our beautiful grounds and trails. Everyone welcome.

Exciting News!

Starting June 1, we’re introducing a Sunday Morning Series with Gen Samten: The Medicine of Hope. Join us in the Temple 11am – 12:15pm for this inspiring topic. To make room for this new series, our Prayers for World Peace class will move to 2–3pm on Sunday. We hope you’ll join us for both!

About the New Series: The Medicine of Hope | 11- 12:30pm with Gen Samten Kelsang | 11am-12:15pm | June 1- July 20 *No Class June 22

Hope is what nourishes us. In good times it inspires us to become a better person and live a spiritually meaningful life. In bad times it brings balance and optimism, and encourages us to find peace by focusing on the things we can control rather than dwelling on the things we can’t. During these classes we will focus on a series of meditations Buddha taught that cultivate hope, resilience, and tranquility within, no matter what life throws at us. You will walk away inspired and with practical meditative tools that you can use to improve the quality of your week.
