Resident Teacher: Gen Samten Kelsang
One of Venerable Geshe‑la’s senior disciples with decades of meditative and teaching experience, Gen Samten Kelsang oversees the spiritual program at KMC New York, and teaches throughout the US and around the world. He is renowned for the clarity of his teachings, ability to help students improve their practice, and his skill in leading practitioners to profound meditative insights.
Second Resident Teacher: Kadam Kyle Davis
Kadam Kyle has engaged in in-depth study at both the Temple in New York and on the Special Teacher Training Program at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre. His joyful and sincere example in daily life, and his clear and practical approach to the teachings have inspired many people in their spiritual lives. Kadam Kyle is also the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Brooklyn.
Rebecca Rehorn
Rebecca has taught at KMC NY and maintained a Branch Class for nearly 14 years. Rebecca is passionate about sharing Buddha’s teachings to help others gain an experience of inner spaciousness and peace.
Charlie Stuart
Charlie has been practicing Buddhism for many years and has been helping the Saratoga Springs classes. He is now teaching the weekly Tuesday meditations. He is appreciated for his clear, light-hearted, and practical presentation of Buddhist teachings.
Wendy Miller
Wendy Miller has been studying Kadampa for many years and studies in the Foundation Program at KMC New York. She teaches the Sparta meditation class once per month. Her teachings emphasize personal experience, helping students gain real insight through guided meditation and reflection.
Sarah Schaffer
Sarah is a Teacher at KMC New York where she studies in the Teacher Training Program. She regularly teaches the Sparta meditation class. Her teachings are practical and show how we can easily include meditation and Buddha’s timeless advice into daily life.
Sara Wendt
Sara has been a sincere and dedicated practitioner for many years. Known for thoughtful and loving nature, she has a practical way of presenting Buddha’s Teachings based on her own understanding and experiences, making them accessible to everyone.
Zoe Greenbaum
Since first meeting Buddha’s teachings in 2006, Zoe’s practice has brought joy, lightness and love to all of her relationships. Her enthusiasm for teaching comes from the transformative power of meditation and its practical approach to solving life’s challenges. She delights in encouraging others to bring the teachings to life and to experience the beauty and magic for themselves!
