Calming the Mind on Fire: Solutions to Overstimulation

In a world that never stops pinging, scrolling, and demanding your attention, is it any wonder the mind is constantly full to bursting? Calming the Mind on Fire is a four-week series for anyone ready to reclaim a genuinely quiet mind - not by escaping the noise, but by understanding it. Week by week we’ll tackle the mental patterns that keep us overstimulated and exhausted: the looping overthinking that won’t switch off, the anxiety that grips before we’ve even noticed it arrive, the worry we pour into things far outside our control, and those intrusive thoughts that seem to hijack our peace out of nowhere. Each Sunday brings a clear, workable method - grounded in how the mind actually functions - that you can start using the moment you walk out the door. This isn’t about suppressing thoughts or forcing calm; it’s about seeing your own mind clearly enough that it stops working against you. Come discover what it feels like when the fire finally settles - you may be surprised how simple, and how close, real peace actually is.

Meditations for Happiness and Health

Our happiness has far more to do with the state of our mind than with our circumstances — and a calm, clear mind is also the basis of real inner wellbeing. This class offers simple, practical meditations to help you find real peace of mind: less reactive, less anxious, and more genuinely content, whatever the day brings. No experience is necessary, and each session stands alone, so you’re welcome to join any week.

Each class introduces a specific meditation along with the understanding behind it, so you leave with something you can actually use in daily life— not just a pleasant session of relaxation. Whether you’re new to meditation or already practicing, this is a space to quiet the mind, understand it a little better, and discover a happiness that doesn’t depend on things going well.
