Whether you’re visiting for the day or staying overnight, we’re happy to welcome you to KMC New York.
We are a rustic site with simple amenities. While we do have accessibility accommodations in place, they may not meet every need. We encourage you to reach out in advance so we can make a plan together and do our best to ensure your visit is comfortable.
Accessible Rooms
We offer ground floor accessible single rooms as well as accessible Jack and Jill rooms that include ADA Compliant bathrooms and showers.

Our bathroom blocks offer accessible bathroom options.
Navigating the Site
Our main roads and pathways are surfaced with gravel retention grids and include some sloped and uneven terrain. If you have questions about accessibility or would like assistance navigating the site, please contact us at info@kadampanewyork.org.
Accessible parking is available throughout the property, with spaces located near the barn and temple. We are happy to help make additional arrangements as needed with advance notice.
Wheelchair ramps are available to our temple and main building dining room.

Assisted Listening
A designated assisted listening section is available and equipped with headphones. If you think you may need this accommodation, you can let us know in advance, or check in with our volunteers who can direct you to this area.
Accessible Seating
Most participants choose to sit in chairs, though meditation cushions are available in the front rows. The temple is generally arranged with ample seating, making it easy to select a desired seat. For larger events, if you require a reserved aisle seat or have other seating needs outside of our current set up, please let us know, and we will be happy to make a plan with you.
