Personal Retreats

Retreats at Kadampa Meditation Center New York offer an opportunity to disconnect from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with inner peace. Nestled in the tranquil beauty of upstate New York, our retreats are thoughtfully designed for both beginners and experienced meditators. You will enjoy guided meditations, Buddhist teachings, and quiet reflection in a supportive environment. Surrounded by scenic beauty and hiking trails, our Buddhist temple provides the ideal setting for personal growth and inner stillness.

The Catskills getaway weekends are an opportunity to build your own retreat and make what works for you. Come for a Friday evening Food For Thought, our Saturday Day Course, and our Sunday meditation class taught by resident teacher Gen Samten Kelsang, or mix-and-match whatever works for you!

Located in the Catskills just a couple hours from NYC, Kadampa Meditation Center New York is a peaceful refuge offering meditation classes, weekend getaways, and extended silent retreats throughout the year. Local meditators come from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and others travel from all over the world to visit this precious place. You will get what you need-- whether it is overcoming anxiety, relieving stress, or going deeper into the profundity of Buddhist meditation.

Please register for accommodations at least 24 hours in advance to allow us to ensure everything is ready. If you wish to book a stay, please complete the online pre-registration form. Please note that this form is not a reservation — it allows us to determine availability for your chosen accommodation type during your selected dates. A registration form specifying the cost of your stay will be sent to you afterward to confirm your booking.

Accommodations & Pricing

The price is fixed and includes accommodation and meals. It is not possible to deduct any optional extras from this package. All accommodations include all linens and towels unless otherwise noted.
