Weekend Course: 20th Anniversary: Celebrating 20 Years of Healing the World
October 23 – 26 | Weekend Course: 20th Anniversary
with Gen Samten Kelsang and Kadam Kyle Davis
Registration Opens September 9 at 2pm
Come celebrate this inspiring vision of world peace instilled in us by our founder Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. The Kadampa World Peace Temple has been a source of public service for twenty years! Opened in 2006, Venerable Geshe-la charged everyone with the vision of how this temple can contribute to healing in the world. Specifically, he gave special guidance on how to practice acceptance and work through anger, along with how to engage in Medicine Buddha practice.
To celebrate this anniversary, our two resident teachers Gen Samten Kelsang and Kadam Kyle Davis will guide us through some of the essential practices shared in this festival. It will be a chance to renew our wish to be of world service, benefitting everyone everywhere through our Dharma practice, and especially though meditations of relying on Medicine Buddha. We hope you can join in with us on this special occasion, so we can all, collectively maintain and grow this intention for world peace.
