Weekend Meditation Retreat: Healing with Every Breath: A Taking and Giving Weekend
May 15 – 17 | Weekend Meditation Retreat
with Kelsang Gechog
Registration Opens April 1 at 2pm
Taking and giving on the breath is a magical practice. An heirloom of the Buddhist teachings and our tradition, it is beloved for its power to heal, transform obstacles, and energize the mind.
In this weekend retreat, learn how to engage in this exquisitely beautiful meditation and how to integrate it into busy, modern life. By combining it with our breathing, we can learn to make every moment meaningful and see every experience as an opportunity for meditation and contemplation.
Everyone welcome!

About our Weekend Meditation Retreats
These weekend meditation retreats are perfect folks wanting to take a break from busy life to enjoy the peaceful environment of KMC New York. A weekend can be the perfect amount of time to reset, relax , and get a deep experience retreat to bring back home. We often invite qualified Teachers from neighboring Kadampa Centers to lead these retreats that vary in topic. Each weekend has a particular emphasis on meditation and practice, but the format stays the same on a Friday evening introduction, four sessions on Saturday and two sessions on Sunday. During the breaks there is plenty of time to relax, enjoy our trails and World Peace Café.
