Buddhist meditation is widely known for its ability to help people remove their inner causes of suffering. It is also about becoming happier and happier — discovering the deep peace, joy, and bliss we all have inside of us. Join us for a meditation workshop in which Evelyn will explain how to use the power of meditation to tap into this potential for lasting happiness. We can learn to pacify distraction, negative thoughts, and unhappiness, and thereby come to discover an authentic experience of peace.
Open to everyone, this morning meditation workshop will give practical tools to solve our daily problems, overcome painful feelings and get the most out of our life experiences. As we tap into this reservoir of peace within ourselves we can come to experience a pure happiness and joy that we can then bring to others.
Evelyn Williams is a meditation teacher at KMC New York and teaches the branch in Saratoga Springs, NY. She is known for her kindness and warmth, and her teachings are heartfelt and easy to apply to daily life.
