Unwind the Mind
Wednesdays · 7-8:30pm with Matthew Stein
It’s time to unwind and live more lightly. Putting energy into improving our life or being a modern person does not mean we need to be tightly wound. Learning to practice Buddhist meditation allows one to learn to really let go of painful thoughts, worried states of mind, and physical and mental tension. Throughout this course, we will look at various time-tested tools and strategies within Buddhist teachings to accomplish these aims. We will start with more accessible, beginner-friendly teachings on how to loosen up and relax, and then finish with the supreme way to accomplish this aim: using Buddha’s teachings on emptiness, or ultimate truth. Everyone welcome.
$10 per person. Drop-ins welcome
