Creating Community Talk

Community Talk with Gen Samten

Sunday, May 15th 11am-12:30pm

In 1992, our founder Venerable Geshe Kelsang gave a talk called “What Should Be Our Main Practice?” He explained that we should view ourselves as Bodhisattvas and part of a Bodhisattva community, living with the intention to benefit others. Bodhisattvas live a noble and beautiful life–they are people who have decided their purpose for living and being in this world is to bring happiness to others. KMC New York is a Bodhisattva community solely dedicated to world peace. We can all agree the world needs more places like this. In this talk, Gen Samten will share how we can align with this vision for peace in the world and how being part of this Bodhisattva community can both help us and others tremendously.
