Kadampa World Peace Temple
The Kadampa World Peace Temple at KMC-NY arose from the pure intention and vision of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Spiritual Director, and is dedicated to the happiness and freedom from suffering of every living being.

It is the second traditional Kadampa Temple built as part of the International Temples Project.
The Temple was designed and built under Geshe Kelsang’s guidance to represent the celestial palace of Buddha Heruka, the Buddha of Compassion. It was constructed largely by volunteer practitioners – artists, craftsmen and builders from around the world.
