The Great Scope — The Compassionate Path to Enlightenment
Sundays, 3-5pm and 6-8pm
Open Introduction November 16 • 3:00-5:00pm
This November, we will be starting a new series of the Foundation Program with the section “The Great Scope” from the book “Joyful Path of Good Fortune” by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
This book is a commentary to Atisha’s Lamrim instructions on the stages of the path to enlightenment. Some of the topics that will be covered in this section are entering the path to enlightenment, training in love and compassion, and developing the supreme good heart of bodhichitta.
FP classes are held on Sundays. They consist of two sessions, from 3:00 - 5:00pm and 6:00 -8:00pm. Please inquire about child care options if needed. For those who live further away from KMC NY, FP is also available as a correspondence class in which you will receive teachings by MP3 or CD. Please inquire for more details. If you have any questions, please contact Kadampa Meditation Center for more information.
Please call the education department at (845) 856-9000, email Education@KadampaNewYork.org
