NKT Post Summer Festival Retreat
Guided by Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong
At the NKT International Summer Festival, Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso will give teachings on Kadam Lamrim and Highest Yoga Tantra, and grant the empowerments of Dorje Shugden, Buddha Heruka and Venerable Vajrayogini. Following this event, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong will guide us in the US World Peace Temple to deepen our heart connection with these deities so that we can continuously receive their transformative blessings.
Dorje Shugden is a Dharma Protector, our supreme spiritual friend who arranges all the necessary conditions that we need to complete the path to enlightenment. The Highest Yoga Tantra practices of Heruka and Vajrayogini include special methods to purify our body and mind, and to transform or ordinary world and experiences into the blissful pure world and experiences of an enlightened being.
To attend this post-Festival retreat at KMC NY, you need not have attended the Summer Festival, however you must have previously received the empowerments of Heruka and Vajrayogini.
Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong is NKT-IKBU US National Spiritual Director, and Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center California, Los Angeles.
