ForgivenessBlame has become epidemic in our society, at work and at home. But by dwelling on past harm done to us and blaming others, we continue to harm ourselves. Buddha teaches us how to identify the real objects of blame. In this course we will learn methods for profound acceptance, forgiveness and compassion to solve these inner problems. Through this we can learn to forgive others, let go of the past, and move in the direction of health, loving relationships and a happy life. |

Fasting and Purification RetreatDuring our annual Spring weekend purification retreat, we open our hearts with joy and humility to receive the purifying blessings of 1000 armed Avalokiteshvara. Through fasting, singing melodious prayers, and making beautiful offerings, prostrations and requests, we are guided to draw close to the Buddha of Compassion. |

Living Lightly - The Practice of Emptiness
This weekend course will explore the ultimate nature of ourself and the people we relate to. Using seven special points of contemplation called “Chandrakirti’s seven-fold reasoning” we can destroy the three poisons of self-grasping, attachment and anger and become liberated from all the suffering they produce. By combining Geshe-la’s instructions in Ocean of Nectar and Modern Buddhism, this practical and in-depth course will help us to live lightly and joyfully in contemporary society.
