Accommodations at the Kadampa Meditation Center New York
Besides the World Peace Temple, there are presently four other structures on the land:
The original Barn was recently restored and converted to house the KMC offices, Tharpa Publications, and accommodations for residents and visitors.
The Middle House, which looks out over the green with magnificent views of the Temple, offers quiet “homelike” accommodation for residents and visitors.
The Main House situated below the Temple adjacent to the pond is another original building. It now contains a commercial kitchen, the principal dining area, and further accommodation.
The Top House is newly built in the woods above the Temple. It has 11 spacious rooms for residents.
There are plans to build other houses to increase our ability to welcome new residents and guests. Retreat huts and other residences are also planned for the future.
